Big for a Day

Want to volunteer but find that life gets in the way of a regular commitment? This is the program for you!

Big For A Day volunteers are screened and trained like our other volunteers, but we only call on them for special events (typically one a month).

We match them with kids from our wait list for a specific event: they are responsible for pick up and drop off of the child in addition to being their Big for the event.

Can't make it? No problem! Each volunteer is informed about each event, so you can choose to volunteer when it fits into your lifestyle. Even if you only attend 1 event each year, you're still making a difference in a child's life and the agency is grateful for your time.
